The Artist

Wild Spring Studios, is the work of Lilah Behrend a painter, poet, and performing artist making work in Seattle, Washington. Her work in all forms is a celebration of the beauty in each new moment.

The works in the Wildflower Rebellion Collection capture the unique quality of flowers, which are simultaneously solid form and ever evolving. Flowers in themselves are an invitation to connect with the present. The rebellious watercolor technique she uses goes beyond the solid black lines of the form's structure to show the quantum nature and endless possibilities of the natural world around us and our place within it. 

Her performance work has been featured locally and internationally through Sapience Dance Collective and Converge Dance Festival. Her poetry has been published in several journals. And, her new visual art works are consistently presented in local galleries showcasing the unique beauty of the Pacific Northwest.
